LegalOn Expands Presence in Asia-Pacific to Serve In-House Legal Teams

SAN FRANCISCO (February 3, 2026) — LegalOn Technologies, a global leader in legal AI, today announced the expansion of its presence in the Asia-Pacific region to support the growing demand from in-house legal teams operating across APAC. Building on strong momentum—including the recent close of a Series E funding round and becoming the fastest AI company in Japan to reach ¥10B in revenue—LegalOn is deepening its engagement in the region to better serve organizations there.

LegalOn’s growth in APAC follows continued adoption by corporate legal teams looking to improve speed and productivity in daily operations, including faster and more accurate contract review, active management of contractual risks and obligations and AI-powered legal intake and matter management.

With deep experience serving legal teams that operate across borders, LegalOn’s product is uniquely equipped to serve the diverse needs of companies across APAC. Grounded in jurisdiction-specific guidance, LegalOn provides AI contract review, translation and redlining across dozens of languages, and includes a multi-language AI assistant that helps legal teams quickly, confidently and consistently operate across borders. This global focus is supported by teams and operations in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.

As part of this expansion, LegalOn also announced the appointment of Yu Hong Seah as its sales leader for APAC. Based in Singapore, Yu Hong will lead the company’s commercial operations across the region, supporting organizations in markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia and others. He brings nearly a decade of sales and leadership experience across APAC, where he has led regional growth and client development for legal technology and services organizations.

“I’m excited to join LegalOn at such a pivotal moment in its global journey,” said Yu Hong. “As we expand in APAC, I’m looking forward to helping legal teams adopt AI to save time, save money, and take on strategic work.”
